The Kinzua Allegheny Walleye Association disbanded. Charlie Brant and Tim Fields, the directors of KAWA, made large donations to the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 75 over a long period of time. When they decided to stop holding Walleye tournaments, they did not want the fundraiser for the DAV to end. They approached us and offered to donate all of their equipment to us so that the DAV Giordano Memorial Walleye Tournament could continue. We gratefully accepted their offer. Disabled American Veterans Chapter 75 will conduct the Walleye tournaments that were formally conducted by KAWA. The tournaments shall be run with all the integrity and good will as when they were KAWA tournaments. We hope to see all of the anglers participate that participated in the past.
